Indigenous traineeships

Since 2002, ANZ has recruited over 250 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander trainees in branches around Australia. We believe that investing in training and supporting Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities provides opportunities for talented individuals to grow and open doors to a career with ANZ.

Full time traineeships

Over 2 years full time trainees:

work at least four days a week in an ANZ branch
earn money while learning new skills
achieve a National Certificate III qualification
take on career opportunities with ANZ or other careers and study opportunities at the end of the traineeship.

To apply for a Full Time Traineeship complete and submit an Expression of Interest Form online.

Expressions of interest for full time traineeships are accepted all year.

School based traineeships

While completing your year 11 and year 12 studies, you will:

work at least one day a week in an ANZ branch
receive an income while learning new skills
achieve a National Certificate qualification
be supported by ANZ staff and Aboriginal mentors
be able to take on career opportunities with ANZ or other opportunities at the end of their traineeship

To apply for a School Based Traineeship (commencing December 2010) please complete and submit an Expression of Interest Form online between 31 March 2010 and 30 July 2010.
