Software settings

To use ANZ Internet Banking you need to ensure that you have the correct software installed on your computer. Find out more about software settings.

Set your screen resolution

www.anz.com and ANZ Internet Banking are best viewed on a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.

To change your screen resolution:

  1. Click 'Start', choose 'Settings' then 'Control Panel'
  2. Double click the 'Display' icon, select the 'Settings' tab
  3. In the desktop area, use your mouse to drag the arrow to the preferred resolution
  4. Click 'Apply' then 'OK'

 
Adjust pop-up blocker settings here

For Windows Internet Explorer browser:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. On the 'Tools' menu point to 'Pop-up Blocker', and then click 'Pop-up Blocker Settings'.
  3. Type the ANZ website address www.anz.com into the box labelled 'Address of Web site to allow'.

For Safari browser:

  1. Open Safari
  2. Click on the Safari Menu
  3. Uncheck 'Block Pop-Up Windows'

For Firefox browser:

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Select 'Tools'  – 'Options' from the top of your browser window
  3. Click the 'Content' panel, and check 'Block popup windows'
  4. Click 'Exceptions'
  5. Type 'www.anz.com' into the box labelled 'Address of website' input
  6. Click 'Allow'

Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. From the Tools menu, click Internet Options
  3. From the Security tab, click Custom Level
  4. Scroll to Java permissions, click to select High safety
  5. Click OK to close Security settings tab
  6. Click OK to close Internet options
  7. Relaunch your browser

Enabling JavaScript in Firefox

  1. Open Firefox
  2. From the Tools menu, click Options
  3. Click the Content icon
  4. Check Enable JavaScript box
  5. Click OK
  6. Relaunch your browser
