The Trustees invite applications for grants for children’s medical research in Queensland. The one-off grants are for research programs being established by clinical researchers who will normally be at doctoral level and have commenced their first substantive career position in the past five years.

Applicants must clearly explain their clinical role and whether the position is full-time or part-time. Candidates must hold an appointment at a university or research institute in Queensland. A specially appointed medical advisory committee (Queensland) recommends to the Trustee the allocations of funding. The closing date is 15 April of each year. The Trustees offer scholarships for pediatric research, cancer research, heart research and other areas of medical research. Scholarship amounts will be based on National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) stipend guidelines but may vary at the discretion of the Trustee. The objectives of the program are to:
