ANZ approach to fees for Consumer credit cards and ANZ Everyday Visa Debit#
At ANZ, we want to make your banking simpler. To ensure your everyday banking is simple and fair, we are committed to helping you understand and avoid fees such as Overlimit, Overdrawn or Late Payment Fees.
As part of our commitment, we will give ANZ consumer credit card and ANZ Everyday Visa Debit customers:
If you would like to elect to opt out of exceeding your credit card limit, please complete and sign the ANZ Credit Card Overlimit Opt Out form (PDF 32kB) and return it to ANZ Cards via fax or mail.
Alternatively, if you would like to elect to opt out of exceeding your available funds on your ANZ Everyday Visa Debit, please complete and sign the ANZ Everyday Visa Debit Overdraw Opt Out form (PDF 66kB) and return it to ANZ Cards via fax or mail.
*Opting out means that we will, where possible, decline authorised transactions if there are insufficient available funds at the time of the transaction. If a merchant processes transactions without seeking proper authorisation from us, this may cause your account to exceed its credit limit or become overdrawn.
