New corporate loan transaction descriptions
Loan transaction descriptions have been updated to provide you with more clarity about the loan transaction event. In the table below are the standard new transaction types that you will see applied to your loan facility, as they relate to your lending arrangements.
Transaction types
Disbursals, Interest, Principal & General Payments
- Loan Drawdown
- Principal Payment
- Interest Payment
- Net Loan Reprice Transaction (applies for restructures and/or rollover events)
- Combined Loan Transaction (applies for multiple disbursement, interest, principal and general payment events managed as single transaction – your notice will have further details)
Fee Payments
- Available / Unutilised Fee Payment
- Available Fee Payment
- Line Fee Payment
- Unavailable Fee Payment
- Undrawn Commitment Fee Payment
- Usage Fee Payment
- Drawn Commitment Fee Payment
- Loan Administration Charge Payment
Please note that some additional transaction types may still occur outside of the list for specialised loan management events and loan transaction descriptions may appear differently in accounts not held with ANZ.
New layout for loan transactions
The new loan transaction descriptions will be displayed across three transaction lines as shown in the image below .
Line 1 – Transaction type, as detailed in the table above
Line 2 – ANZ loan facility reference details
Line 3 – ANZ transaction identifier
New ANZ Transactive
For users of ANZ Transactive – Global, your online statements will be displayed as shown in the image below.
Tran Type – An abbreviated version of the transaction type outlined in Narrative field
Reference Field – ANZ transaction identifier
Narrative Field – Transaction type, as detailed in the previous table
Using accounting software
If you download statement data for use in an accounting software package, updates to your accounting software may be required to ensure it continues to recognise and correctly allocate the new loan transaction descriptions.
