Overview of GIFT International Financial Services Centre
Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) in Gujarat is India’s first International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). As a financial centre and a multi-services Special Economic Zone, it offers top-tier infrastructure and services to financial institutions and firms in banking, insurance, capital markets, asset management and other areas.
The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) is a unified authority responsible for the development and regulation of financial products, financial services and financial institutions within the GIFT IFSC.

ANZ established its Mumbai branch in 2011 and in 2014, received approval from the Reserve Bank of India to open new branches in New Delhi and outer Bengaluru.
