ANZ Institutional has maintained its place as the leading bank in the region, after being named number one for overall relationship quality for the sixth-consecutive year.
The 2022 Coalition Greenwich Asian Large Corporate Banking study named ANZ the overall relationship quality leader in Asia. The bank also took out the top position in Singapore, China and Hong Kong, the latter two also for the sixth-straight time.
ANZ Managing Director, International, Simon Ireland said it was pleasing to see the bank’s work was valued by the market.
“These results show our investment in our people, our platforms and product capability has been well received by our customers and continues to strengthen our position in the market,” he said.
ANZ also received Greenwich Excellence awards for ease of doing business, coordination of product specialists and proactive provision of advice, among a handful of other awards.
ANZ was one of only seven banks to be recognised for ‘distinctive quality’ by Coalition Greenwich. Eight of the bank’s awards came with such recognition.
The annual Greenwich Awards are based on an independent study which speaks to over 900 Asia-based groups and foreign subsidiaries. It processes responses from groups with an annual turnover of more than $US500 million.
The news comes after ANZ Institutional recognised for its leading customer support across capital markets in December, named by KangaNews as the number-one bond house in Australia for the 13th consecutive year.
In June, ANZ was named the leading bank for customers in Australia for the seventh-consecutive year by Peter Lee Associates.
