Changes to ANZ fees and charges
We’re making changes to some of our fees and charges. These changes will come into effect from 17 June 2024.
The main reason behind those changes is to simplify the way our fees work, or to reduce or remove them entirely.

We are making changes to these fees and charges.
Fees we’re removing
We have removed the following fees and charges.
- Annual Review Fee
- Arrears Fee – late, missed or short repayment noted
- Bank Cheque – Issued at customers request
- Bank Cheque – Issued to non-customers
- Bank Cheque – Repurchase bank cheque
- Changing notes to coins fee ($0-$100)
- Cheque dishonour fee
- Collection fee on deposits (Personal and Business cheque accounts)
- Encashment of cheques over the counter
- Local & International Access Cards – International balance enquiries
- Local & International Access Cards – International ATM withdrawals including EFTPOS transactions
- Multi Entry Schedules (Direct Credit) – Listpay
- Passbook – replacement fee
- Passbook – issuance/renewal fee
- Replacement PIN fee (Local and International Access Cards and Visa Debit Card)
- Special Answer Fee – drawn on our bank (service will no longer be offered)
- Special Authority Amendments – Amendment
- Special Authority Amendments – Authority requiring encashment upon id
- Special Authority Amendments – Business/Government
- Special Authority Amendments – Internal Transfer from account to account
- Standing Orders (Periodical Payments) – to ANZ accounts from Current/Access Account (service still available through digital channels)
- Standing Orders (Periodical Payments) – Non-Payment Fee (Beneficiary own account)
- Stop cheque payment notice
- Transaction fee charged monthly (Personal and Business cheque accounts)
- Visa Debit Card – International fees – ATM withdrawal fee
- Visa Debit Card – International fees – ATM balance enquiry fee
- Visa Debit Card – International fees – POS transaction fee
