Changes to ANZ fees and charges

We’re making changes to some of our fees and charges. These changes will come into effect from 8 July 2024.

The main reason behind those changes is to simplify the way our fees work, or to reduce or remove them entirely.

Changes to customer banking services fees and charges

Fees we’re changing

We are making changes to these fees and charges.

Renamed to 'Monthly account fee'.

There will no longer be eight free staff assisted transactions per month.

Please note this fee will be renamed 'Staff assisted transaction fee' and will also include Manual Transfer fees. See updated ANZ Savings & Transaction Products Terms and Conditions for new fee description.

The change to monthly charging also means that we have changed the wording to replace quarterly with monthly. Renamed 'Monthly account fee'.

Note: This will be charged monthly starting end of July 2024.

We are simplifying how we calculate the Loan approval fee for home loans and implementing a flat fee for each approval.

We are simplifying how we calculate the Loan approval fee for unsecured personal loans and implementing a flat fee for each approval.

We are simplifying how we calculate the Loan/Facility approval fee for Business customers by having one fee which applies for all Business lending types.

  • Information Service fee (credit check) 
  • International Access Cards – International ATM withdrawal fee 
  • International Access Cards – International ATM balance enquiry 
  • Late Payment; Arrears fee (payable after 7 days)
  • Loan fee – small loan approval fee
  • Over the counter fee for staff assisted cheque encashment for non ANZ customers
  • Salary Payments – Payment from list
  • Salary Payments – Payment to other banks
  • Safe custody fee
  • Safe custody fee – fee per visit
