Kevin Corbally
Group Chief Risk Officer
Kevin Corbally is ANZ's Chief Risk Officer.
Career
Kevin is responsible for ANZ Group’s Risk Management, overseeing our global Credit, Market and Operational Risk and Compliance teams as well as risk related strategies, policies and processes.
Prior to his current role, Kevin was Group General Manager, Internal Audit, reporting to the Chairman of the Group Audit Committee and administratively to Shayne Elliott, ANZ Group Chief Executive. Previously, he sat on the Institutional Bank Leadership Team as Managing Director, Head of Credit and Capital Management where he had responsibility for supporting ANZ Institutional Bank’s (IB) origination efforts through managing IB’s credit and pricing approval and management processes and optimising IB’s balance sheet portfolio management strategy.
He has held a number of other senior roles at ANZ since joining in 2009, including Head of Institutional Relationship Banking Australia and Head of Diversified Industrials.
Before joining ANZ, Kevin was the Managing Director, Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking, Australia & New Zealand at Citibank and also worked at Deutsche Bank. He commenced his career at Price Waterhouse.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from University College Galway, Ireland, a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from University College Dublin, Ireland. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
