ANZ in Germany
ANZ has been active in the German market since the mid 70’s via a representative office. In February 1986 ANZ Germany received a commercial banking licence (excluding securities trading). Our client base consists of large German exporters primarily of capital goods as well as manufacturers of specialised machinery.
ANZ Germany focuses mainly on supporting German speaking corporate customers who have operations, investments and export business in ANZ’s core markets in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. Our services include:
- Corporate relationship management
- Corporate lending facilities
- Bonds and guarantees
- Commodity and trade finance
- Structured export finance.
As part of its relationship management function, ANZ Germany may provide corporate clients, upon their request, with access to ANZ’s global network and specialist product areas such as markets, project finance, advisory specialised lending and transaction banking.
