Regulatory Disclosure
Regulatory Capital Instruments
ANZ is required under APRA’s APS330 to disclose the main features of instruments included in ANZ’s Regulatory Capital.
The full terms and conditions and a summary of the main features for ANZ’s Ordinary Shares and each other instrument constituting Additional Tier 1 or Tier 2 capital of ANZ are set on the Regulatory Capital Instruments page.
*ANZ has amended the way we report Exposure at Default (EAD) and has restated prior period numbers to reflect this. The change was made to align with APRA's preference to report EAD gross of credit risk mitigation such as guarantees, credit derivatives, netting and financial collateral rather than on a net basis. Note that this does not impact RWA calculations which are done on a netted basis. Attached is a table with EAD presented on the gross basis for the past four quarters to help for comparative purposes.
